Continuing its good work in helping the world fight AIDS and HIV, Converse (RED) has brought the work of pop artist, Robert Indiana, on board to create a collaborative pack of “LOVE” Chuck Taylor Highs. These will be hitting stores this coming weekend on August 14 at INVINCIBLE
Robert Indiana is probably best known for his large “LOVE” sculptures that can be found all over the world. And in adapting one of Indiana’s best known images, CONVERSE has turned the upper of its iconic Chuck Taylors into a canvas for prints of “LOVE. Aside from the white printed leather colorway, there is also a navy version with a red embroidered “LOVE” complete with a suede toes. These will be hitting stores this coming weekend on August 14 at INVINCIBLE.

“Glow like Leroy/ You should see boy go…”
I mean honestly, if your a black kid growing up liking girls, fighting and cool special effects (like myself), The Last Dragon was your 1985 version of The Matrix. The story of young (Bruce) Leroy Green growing up in harlem, is a funny yet difficult one. Trying to pass the final level and achieve “the glow.”, dealing with being different thanks to his little brother Richie, and battling the infamous SHO’NUFF!!! of Harlem and the evil Eddie Arkadian(evil white guy… #boo!!!). All while showing cool kung-fu techniques, a nice scenery of NYC, and the beautiful Vanity as Leroy’s love interest. Just all in all, watch this movie if you’re looking for some action.

Even after the release of the Nike Zoom Kobe V’s “Bruce Lee Edition” in the states, There will be an asia release this weekend. So to promote the shoe, Black Mamba has posed with the shoe in (My opinion, hilarious) movie posters portraying The fallen warrior.
